CSO – Life is Good With Music

The Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra set out to announce their new Music Director, Cristian Măcelaru, and his inaugural season in a way that broke tradition—one that celebrated the power of music, community, and connection.There were just a few challenges.Măcelaru and the orchestra were unavailable during our production window, and the iconic Music Hall could only be accessed for a total of six hours.Inspired by the conductor’s belief that “life is good when you’re surrounded by music,” we built a concept that embraced these constraints rather than fought them.

With a skeleton crew, and more than a few favors called in around town, we captured intimate moments of everyday life across Cincinnati, weaving them together through the sound of the CSO.The result was a moving, community-driven piece that premiered online and on local broadcast, helping build anticipation for a successful season ahead.Life really is better when you’re surrounded by music. It was our honor to help celebrate the CSO in a way that felt as alive as the city itself.
